RESCUE MY CHILD

RESCUE MY CHILD"
It is a familiar cry of some parents living in the slums of Nairobi.
A cry which is a concern for the future of ones child.
A cry which is a feedback after the evaluation of the socio-political and economic situation in the area.
It is a cry which communicates the fear and uncertainity about the future of one child.
... It is a cry which shows not only sorrow but also HOPE that some one, somewhere will come for the rescue.
It is the alarm which needs a quick responce. when life is at stake we are not suppose to give a second thought, there are only two options either to save it or to let it go.
Letting it go is however an evil option which is against the morality of all the sound humanbeings who put life as the noblest of all the gifts given to them by God. Saving life is actually the first vocation given to us by the author of life; GOD.
This is the cry directed to all of us, hence each one of us in our own ways and capacity must respond.
We "the I Need a Afriend" have responded firstly by being the mouthpiece of these parents, to let known their story and her quest. We have also started the journey of rescuing the child of these parents, this we do in our own fashion as we try to examine the potential that is in this child, let him/her know about it and help him/her to use it for ones own good and forthe good of others especially fellow children who are in need.
This is our way to respond to the Cry of these poor Mothers/Fathers. It is long process anyway which needs more other friends to JOIN US. For if we put together our energy and minds we will be able to touch the life of these children and help them to become responsible members of the society..... (to be cont.)
